Saturday’s newspapers continue to discuss potential incomings at Goodison Park.

In the Daily Express, Barcelona youngster Gerard Deulofeu is again tipped to make a loan switch to Merseyside, while the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror claim Everton had enqiuired about Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony.

The Mirror claim Wigan’s Arouna Kone is set to become Roberto Martinez’s first signing as Blues boss, while the Liverpool Echo suggest such a move would throw down the gauntlet to Victor Anichebe.

The Echo also gauge the possibility of Antolin Alcaraz joining the Toffees on a free transfer, with their correspondent claiming it could be a shrewd and smart piece of business.

And Martinez’s newly-appointed number two Graeme Jones appears in the Echo stating that the fresh regime must get the balance right to continue Everton’s recent good work.
