There are just 42 days until Christmas and Everton FC fans have been handed an early present – Samuel Eto’o and Steven Pienaar appearing in the greatest advertisement of all time.

The ad, which promotes the club’s half-season tickets, sees the pair bang-on-trend, dressed in blue Christmas jumpers – complete with Rudolph’s blue nose – as well as blue Santa hats.
Eto’o in particular gets into the festive spirit as he offers a wide range of facial expressions, before fighting with team-mate Pienaar over the half season ticket.
The Cameroon striker has won three Champions Leagues and four domestic titles and has started his Goodison Park career with four goals – but he may have missed his true calling in life after this excellent performance.
The video also includes boss Roberto Martinez’s head in a Santa hat.
The half season tickets (Click to find tickets) went on sale on Friday and can be bought for £320, while under-16s prices remain at £99.
