Everton FC are bracing themselves for a big big from Manchester United for midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Manchester United manager David Moyes is determined to complete a double deal for Cesc Fabregas and Marouane Fellaini as he plots an overhaul of his midfield options.

The Toffees have been bracing themselves for Fellaini’s departure and have been pondering over a move for Paris St Germain midfielder Clement Chantome.

Fellaini’s future has been the subject of much conjecture, and he has been linked with a move to Arsenal, even though they are reportedly unwilling to meet his £23m buyout clause.

Meanwhile, Everton’s Nikica Jelavic wants to know if he has a future under new manager Roberto Martinez. Jelavic has seen the new manager bring in Arouna Kone from Wigan, and wants to know where that puts him in the Blues’ pecking order.

Meanwhile, Everton were dealt a double blow with targets Mohamed Diame and Keisuke Honda snubbing the Blues. Diame wants to stay at West Ham, while CSKA Moscow midfielder wishes to move to AC Milan.

Jelavic can be inspired by new signings, says Osman .
