Everton are in talks with Granada left-back

It has been suggested that the Brazilian is being lined up as a potential replacement for Leighton Baines if he is sold to Manchester United.
However, reports today suggest United have backed off a move for Leighton Baines after accepting that Everton chairman Bill Kenwright will not countenance the sale of the England defender.
Meanwhile, Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is ready to snub Arsenal in favour of a move to Manchester United according to reports in London.
Finally, Everton have rewarded England youth international striker Chris Long with his first professional contract.
