Everton FC have become the latest club to be linked with Stoke City centre back Ryan Shawcross, Football News Direct claims.
The website believes the Blues will join Manchester City and Newcastle United in the race for the 26-year-old.
Shawcross has been one of Stoke’s key players during their six-year stay in the Premier League.
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert says Christian Benteke – who is supposedly a target for Everton – is not for sale.
The Belgian has been linked with the Blues, the Daily Star claims, but Lambert says nobody will leave without his permission.
Benteke, 23, is rated at £25m but is currently recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon.
And more striker woe for the Blues, with reported target Michy Batshuayi looking likely to join Swansea.
The Standard Liege striker, who scored 21 goals in the Belgian league last season, has been mentioned as a potential Everton signing.
But the South Wales Echo say Swansea are now favourites to confirm his signature.
