Roberto Martínez has made three signings in the last week and is close to securing his fourth signing of the summer. Reports coming out of Spain today are suggesting the Toffees are close to securing a season-long loan deal for Barcelona youngster Gerard Deulofeu.
The 19-year-old has been part of the famous FC Barcelona’s youth academy La Masia since 2003 and has made several appearances for the first team.
The Spaniard has also been capped at international level for Spain U21?s.
Deulofeu scored 18 goals for Barcelona B last season and is highly regarded in Spain. It’s looks like Everton have beaten the likes of Valencia to secure the youngsters signature.
