On the streets of Liverpool this afternoon there was no doubt where the bragging rights in the 222nd match between Liverpool and Everton would go – a Reds victory was unanimously predicted.

The goals will come from the clinical SAS partnership, with Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez leading the front line.

Fans anticipate a hat-trick from the Liverpool number 7 and a high-scoring game between the two in-form rival clubs, who are both staking a claim in the top four.

Liverpool supporters are looking in confident spirit to see their team in action at Anfield, despite recent injuries to key players – but Everton will also field a depleted side.
