Anichebe has scored two goals in his last 29 Premier League appearances
Everton striker Victor Anichebe hopes his winner in Sunday’s 1-0 victory over West Brom can spur the Blues on to a strong finish in the Premier League.
Anichebe returned to action after four months out with a groin injury.
“The players are saying I’m like a new signing because I’ve been out injured,” Anichebe told BBC Radio Merseyside.
“We’ve got Landon Donovan in as well and he’s going to give us a big boost. Hopefully we can all add something to the team and end the season strong.”
He added: “We always have a good second half to the season.
“In the future, hopefully we can have a good first and second half to the season. But we have had some bad injures so far.”
