Everton were rubbish admits boss David Moyes

Everton boss David Moyes says his side “were rubbish for 30 minutes” as they lose 2-1 to Newcastle at St James’ Park.

Moyes is unhappy with his side’s defending for both Newcastle goals, but he is much more impressed with their determination to try and salvage something from the game in the second half.

Everton’s sluggish start to the season has seen them drop into the bottom five of the Premier League table and Moyes insists they “have to start winning some football matches.”
