JACK RODWELL is facing the prospect of not playing for Everton FC FC again this season after pulling up with yet another hamstring injury.

The 21-year-old has already missed a large chunk of the current campaign with the problem, and has barely featured for his club since starring for England in November.

David Moyes had already suspected the midfielder’s problem was deep-rooted, and his latest setback – suffered in training at the weekend – has confirmed those fears.

Now the Blues plan to send Rodwell to see renowned German specialist Doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt to find a solution once and for all, but the doctor’s limited availability means time is running out for the player to recover and play a part in the season’s run-in.

“He did it in training Saturday morning,” said Moyes.

“We had him scanned and he’s got a grade one which is only small but it’s still the third time he’s done it.

“I don’t know exactly how long were looking at or what treatments we’ll try to get him to.
