“To take anything from Anfield much improved displays are essential from players like Leon Osman and Romelu Lukaku”

Terry McAllister, Walton:

There isn’t much that supporters can fault Everton for this season – but if there is one ongoing issue of the campaign, it’s letting Liverpool off the hook whenever they drop points.

Given the circumstances, the result against West Brom wasn’t a complete disaster despite the lacklustre performance from the team.

All teams have off nights,  but this is the second time the Reds have lowered their gloves recently and we haven’t gone for their chin.

The derby is up next and without Ross Barkley, Gerard Deulofeu and potentially Steven Pienaar the Blues are at somewhat of a disadvantage. To take anything from Anfield much improved displays are essential from players like Leon Osman and Romelu Lukaku.

We must be more ruthless.

George Gibson, Northwich:

We never got out of third gear on Monday, wasting a great chance to get into the top four.

The way the team has played this season, though, I fully expect these performances to become less common in the next few seasons.

It is good to see us being proactive this year in the transfer market.

Lacina Traore is someone the manager is excited about, although he hasn’t played much for Monaco even with Falcao injured. Loaning players is good business though as it will be easier to sign good quality forwards permanently in the summer than it would be now.

I’d like to see us go for another striker too, Adrian Ramos from Hertha Berlin and Pierre-Michel Lasogga at Hamburg both can’t stop scoring this season.
