It looks as though Kevin Mirallas is on the comeback trail for Everton FC after he posted this video on his official Instagram account on Sunday afternoon.
The Belgian winger injured his hamstring in the Merseyside derby in September and has been out of action ever since but he took to Instagram today to tell Blues fans that he is nearing a return.
He said: “Training hard !!! Play hard!!! Back soon…”
Blues boss Roberto Martinez spoke about the player’s injury recently and confirmed Mirallas was “progessing well” – and Blues fans will be pleased to say that Mirallas is back training and nearing a first team return.
The Blues drew 0-0 with 10-man Swansea City in a frustrating afternoon at Goodison Park on Saturday. Jonjo Shelvey was sent off for a second bookable offence in the second half for the visitors, but Everton couldn’t find a way past a dogged Swansea defence and had to settle for a point.
The ECHO’s Everton reporter Greg O’Keeffe admitted the Blues had missed a big opportunity after the game.
