Barry frustrated by Blues’ recent displays
Barry Horne hopes Everton’s season does not tail of as drastically as their performance did in the FA Cup defeat at Arsenal.
The former Blues midfielder has found his old team’s recent displays against the top sides frustrating.
In his ECHO column tomorrow, Horne writes: “Saturday’s disappointment runs deeper than just being knocked out of the FA Cup. It emphasises the tailing off we have seen in recent weeks and really puts a full stop on the season.
“It’s a season which promised so much but now threatens to fizzle out. It makes you wonder where we are failing.”
