Everton FC have yet again been linked with Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk, with the Metro claiming the Blues will rival Arsenal for his signature.
The Mail suggests that van Dijk is a suitable long-term replacement for the outgoing Sylvain Distin, with Southampton also in the hunt.
However, the Metro reports that the Celtic defender is closing in on a move to Everton.
Elsewhere, Roberto Martinez is weighing up a £13m deal for Celta Vigo forward Nolito.
Sportsvibe claim the former Barcelona and Benfica winger has attracted plenty of attention with his performances for the La Liga side this season.
And finally, Crusaders winger Gavin Whyte has revealed he’s spent the week on trial at the Blues.
“I had a great time with Everton – it was a great learning experience for me and thoroughly enjoyable,” Whyte said.
“The club’s facilities are out of this world, and the training was fantastic.”
