Everton are lining up Wolves striker Nouha Dicko in a bid to strengthen their striking options, that’s according to reports today.

The Mali international has just one year remaining on his current deal with the Championship side, and he impressed last season by scoring 15 goals as Kenny Jackett’s side finished just outside the playoffs.

Roberto Martinez is said to be keen on bringing in back-up to first choice forward Romelu Lukaku, and reckons Dicko fits the bill.

Born in France, Dicko moved to Wigan in 2011 from Strasbourg. He would have spells out on loan with Blackpool, Rotherham and Wolves before joining the latter on a permanent deal in January 2014.

Wolves are desperate to hang on to their man, who has scored 27 goals in 56 appearances, and would demand a big asking price despite the contract situation.

The Toffees have also been linked with a move for Estonian defender Ragnar Klavan.

Reports in Germany claim the 29-year-old has emerged as a target for the Toffees after impressing as Augsburg finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season.

Klavan has been capped 100 times for his country and Everton are in need of reinforcements at centre-back after the departures of both Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz.

Klvan joined Augsburg in 2012 from AZ Alkmaar in Holland, scoring four goals in 97 appearances for the club in his three seasons in Germany.

And finally, rumours linking Everton with a bid for Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann remain strong.

The Independent claims the Blues are lining Dann up as a more realistic target than Man United’s Jonny Evans, who is also mentioned as having been scouted by the Toffees.

However Dann, who is from Liverpool, has reportedly caught Martinez’s attention and the Blues boss could move for his man very soon/

Dann has two years left on his deal at Selhurst Park and Eagles boss Alan Pardew is keen to hold on to the 28-year-old.
