Everton FC have moved into pole position to sign Jonny Evans, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
The Blues have supposedly jumped to the front of the queue to sign the 27-year-old, who is expected to be the most high-profile victim of Louis van Gaal’s summer defensive clear out.
But the newspaper says both Arsenal and Tottenham will rival the Toffees for the centre back’s signature.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express believe Bryan Oviedo is a transfer target for Real Socidead.
The paper says David Moyes, who now manages the La Liga side, wants to reunite with the Costa Rica full back.
Everton paid around £3m for Oviedo when Moyes signed him from FC Copenhagen in August 2012.
