Jose Mourinho has denied Mohamed Salah will leave Chelsea in January despite reported interest from Everton FC, London 24 reports.

The Blues have been linked with the winger, as have QPR and Stoke City, but Mourinho insists the 22-year-old is going nowhere.

“He is a player in our squad and he is going nowhere,” said Mourinho. “He doesn’t go for sure. Maybe he moves house, but not club.”

Meanwhile, supposed interest in Besiktas midfielder Veli Kavlak has hit a stumbling block according to Italian media, with Lazio joining the race.

Kavlak, 26, joined Besiktas from Rapid Vienna in 2011 for around £600,000, and has since established himself as a fan favourite with his tireless performances in the holding role, recording eight goals and 11 assists in 128 total appearances.

But Corriere Dello Sport report the Serie A side are now to rival Everton, Leicester and Southampton for the Austrian international.

And finally, Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb say the Blues are interested in Palermo centre back Eziquiel Munoz.

Munoz, 24, has proved one of the Palermo’s most reliable performers since arriving from Boca Juniors in August 2010.

If the Blues are in for the defender, then they will face competition from Newcastle, Spurs and West Ham.
