Everton FC transfer news today sees Roberto Martinez hoping to sign Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato, according to reports in Italy.

Broadcaster Sportitalia says Everton are looking to seal a move for the former AC Milan striker following the departure of Samuel Eto’o to Sampdoria.

The Brazilian established himself during a prolific spell at Italian giants AC Milan but injuries have limited his impact in recent seasons and he moved back to his homeland in 2013.

Pato has scored 10 goals in 27 appearances for Brazil.

Rolando spent last season on loan at Inter Milan where he played 29 times in Serie A scoring four goals in his time in Italy.

Finally, Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka maybe on the verge of a move to Roma but, according to France Football, Everton would  be his preferred destination.

“Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk has announced that it reached an agreement with Roma for the transfer of Yevhen Konoplyanka to Italy,” read the statement.

“But the Ukrainian winger would rather move to England where Everton want him. He has in any case asked for a few days to think about his future destination.”
