Everton lead the race for Atletico Madrid starlet Saul Niguez, according to the Daily Mail .

The 19-year-old has been watched by rivals Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United but Roberto Martinez may have the edge when trying to land the Spaniard on loan.

Gerard Deulofeu’s success at Goodison Park has encouraged Martinez to re-enter the loan market in a bid to strengthen the Everton squad ahead of Europa League football next term and Niguez fits the bill.

Meanwhile, Martinez will look to bring Lacina Traore back to Goodison Park on-loan for the whole of next season report the Daily Express.

Traore joined the Blues on-loan in January but, after scoring on his debut, spent the rest of the season injured.

However Martinez has been impressed enough to look to bring the Ivory Coast frontman back and has opened talks with Monaco in a bid to do so.

Another target that could add to the Blues strikeforce is Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike reports turkishfootball.com .

The Blues could face competition from Tottenham and Manchester City for the Fenerbahçe striker who scored 12 goals in 28 appearances last season.

Emenike has also scored ten goals in 21 internationals and will lead Nigeria’a attack at the World Cup in Brazil.

Fenerbahçe value the forward at around 20m Euros.
