Everton stars helped the club show their support for Children in Need yesterday.

Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku took a break from their preparations for Thursday’s Europa League game against Lille to join Children in Need mascot Pudsey for a kickabout at the club’s Finch Farm training complex.

The visit from Pudsey was part of the build-up for this year’s fundraising event, which takes place next week.

There was also an appearance from Everton’s own mascot, Changy.

Everton striker Lukaku said: “It’s good that the club shows its support with a link-up to a charity like this. I think it’s very important, personally as well, so I’m very happy to participate in these things.”

Children in Need 2014 airs on BBC One on Friday 14 November at 7pm.
