A round-up of today’s transfer gossip involving EFC

Incredible scenes to start with as the Blues become the latest club linked with Romelu Lukaku – but the Daily Mail claim it all depends on whether Everton qualify for the Champions League.

The on-loan striker has been mentioned with a number of Europe’s top clubs, and now it is claimed Everton have joined the hunt, with Lukaku open to making his tenure permanent.

The Blues have also been linked with a top Bundesliga striker, with Josip Drmic supposedly on the Blues radar.

German newspaper Bild claims Everton scouted the Nurnberg striker against Stuttgart, and the Swiss star shone with two goals – but he will cost 13m euros to bring to Goodison Park.

Everton are also keeping an eye on Sampdoria prospect Giacomo Calo , according to Talksport.

The 17-year-old has starred for Sampdoria’s youth side this season, scoring ten goals from midfield, but Roberto Martinez will have to fend off interest from Spain to get his man.

And the Blues are also looking closer to home to reinforce their midfield by supposedly monitoring Lewis Holtby .

The Tottenham midfielder, on loan at Fulham, is a boyhood Evertonian and could move in the summer, says Football News Direct.
